HOW IT STARTED
My roots were grown in the Boston suburbs but I’ve called a few places home.
My journey began at Purdue University, where I studied Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design). Shortly after graduation, I moved to Chicago, landed my first design job, and discovered my passion for photography.
Fast forward 13 years, and I’m now living in North Carolina with my husband, our son, and two pups, after spending several years in Florida and California (hey there military life).
Florida was a pivotal chapter for us, as we welcomed our first child, Jack. Becoming a parent completely transformed my life, as you’d expect, and led my professional career in new and exciting directions. Today, I work from home primarily collaborating with non-profit organizations—work I'm truly proud of. I still take on the occasional freelance project and make time for my love of photography whenever possible.
During our time in California, I worked in the health and fitness industry as a Graphic Designer and Photographer for Designer Protein. One of my career highlights was using my photography skills to document ambassador and professional surfer Bethany Hamilton in Hawai’i in 2018.
I’m the type of person who loves being cozied up under a down comforter, in front of a fire on a Friday night. I pet every dog within reach, often have a candy bar in my back pocket, and walk the beach any chance I get. My TV is perpetually set to HGTV, where home decor and renovation shows captivate me for hours. My mission is to use my design and photography skills to help and serve others.
hey there!
I’m Danielle
I'm a graphic designer by trade and somewhere along the way found my hand stuck to the side of a camera teaching myself all I could about photography. My sweet spot is blending these two passions into a career that brings purpose, values community, and fosters positive change in this wild, busy world.
